The Basic Principle Behind The Foundation of RKA Law College Was To Establish A Regularized System Of Imparting Legal Education. Staying True To It We Have Endeavored And Achieved This Ambition And Maintained Our Standards Of Excellence For Over 45 Years Now. We believe in creating a relaxed and flexible environment to allow students to grow and develop at their own pace. Striving further to harbor individuality of thought and expression and the stimulation to reach the acme of the legal profession, this college organizes workshops, conferences, and lectures. It has always been the foremost aim of this college to insist on giving students the independence to use the abounding opportunities available and carve out their own niche in college life. Ram Kumari Ayodhya Law College has been offering the 3-year Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Programme since its establishment in 1979. The programme aligns with the latest guidelines and regulations set by the Bar Council of India and the University Grants Commission, ensuring its relevance and academic rigor. At this college, we give special emphasis on perspectives and insights from other disciplines and encourages an integrated approach to law and an exploration of the legal profession’s social-economic role and ethical commitments.

Chairman Message

Inspired by the noble ideals of Late Shri Braj Kishore Singh (Heera Babu) and Late Smt. Mrigila Devi, Mr. Anil Kumar Singh has devoted his life to the cause of education, social welfare, and community upliftment. At the young age of 21, while many envision personal ambitions, he chose the path of public service continuing the legacy of his illustrious father, who was himself a pioneer in educational reform. His vision was not confined to mere academics, but extended to the moral and intellectual awakening of rural youth, a vision deeply rooted in the principles of justice, equality, and self-reliance. Guided by this conviction, he founded several educational initiatives in Begusarai and nearby regions, each aimed at empowering young minds through accessible and quality education. His selfless service and exemplary leadership have earned him wide respect among all sections of society. His long-standing association as Ex-Secretary and now Chairman of the Ram Kumari Ayodhya Law College, under the aegis of the Ayodhya Educational Trust, reflects his enduring commitment to legal education and social transformation. His efforts led to the establishment of this institution in 1983, which has since evolved into a beacon of legal learning in the region. Under his leadership, the college has upheld the twin ideals of “Education with Service” and “Law with Compassion.” He firmly believes that a lawyer’s duty is not merely to interpret the law but to uphold the spirit of justice particularly for those marginalized and voiceless in society. His philosophy resonates with the timeless maxim: “The law should serve humanity, not dominate it.” Today, as the institution completes 46 years of establishment, Mr. Anil Kumar Singh stands as a pillar of integrity, vision, and humanism reminding us all that education, when guided by law and compassion, can become the strongest instrument of social justice.

Choosing a career in law enriched my life and studying in RKA Law College gave me the right orientation and confidence while working as a lawyer and then an academician. Law opens doors leading to discovery of multiple avenues.RKA Law College stands on the foundation of a glorious tradition with a crowning reputation on its crest. The galaxies of stellar academics of yesteryears and today’s team of dedicated teachers have made the college distinguished. The alumni of the college, which include two former Registrar Patna High Court  and  many brilliant legal luminaries, eminent artists and renowned professionals, are the roots of this old and sprawling banyan tree. The degree in law will enable you to earn your bread and butter honorably, but more importantly, in this college you will learn to think and to question, which is considered essence of education. By evolving new techniques and innovative methods of teaching, RKA Law College explores many opportunities to equip the students to meet the challenges of the changing world.
